MEDDPICC Workflow Track

MEDDPICC without paper process evidence is incomplete.

COMMIT-OS records what customers demonstrate — per MEDDPICC criterion, including champion qualification and paper process.

What MEDDPICC is used for

MEDDPICC builds on MEDDIC with two additional criteria: Paper Process (legal and procurement) and Identified Pain (explicit pain recognition from the customer). The framework is widely used in enterprise B2B deals where procurement processes are complex and multiple decision-makers are involved.

Where execution breaks down

  • Paper process is ignored until the deal is nearly closed
  • Champion is claimed without evidence of internal action
  • Identified Pain is interpreted by the AM, not confirmed by the customer
  • MEDDPICC fields are used as a checklist, not an evidence structure
  • Economic Buyer engagement remains implicit

What COMMIT-OS makes visible

  • Whether the paper process has actually been initiated
  • Whether the champion has moved internally on behalf of the deal
  • Whether the pain was confirmed and documented by the customer
  • Which MEDDPICC criteria have evidence vs. which are empty
  • Deals that look forecast-ready but are not

What gets captured

  • Paper process steps and evidence of procurement engagement
  • Champion activity: internal communication, actions and escalations
  • Customer confirmation of identified pain
  • Economic Buyer engagement per deal stage
  • Verification of all MEDDPICC criteria on evidence

How this improves deal reviews and forecast

MEDDPICC-based deal reviews become systematic and repeatable. Paper process risk is visible early. Champion qualification is based on behaviour, not relationship.
